The U.S. Air Force Test Center (AFTC), MDTF has a requriement for Data Analysis Tool Repository Optimization. The Air Force is seeking innovative solutions in regards to tools that have been developed to analyze data from complex test events, primarily in Python by engineers versus software developers, have recently moved into several git repositories in a .mil git lab. While this has provided broader access to tools, imposed revision control, and enabled collaborative development, the collection of repositories has not been optimized. Modern best practices such as a clear naming convention, branch strategy, packing strategy, utilization of CI/CD pipeline capabilities, and use of security features for dependencies would greatly enhance the effectiveness of the tools.
