This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis and Request for Information (RFI) to afford industry an opportunity to provide information regarding Air Show Smoke Oil located at Edwards AFB, CA. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. Parties that respond will not be paid for the information submitted. The Air Force is hereby requesting capability statements and other information from interested sources. The AFTC will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of comments. Description of product to be acquired: The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), CA has a requirement for Smoke Oil. Air Show Smoke Oil - Thunderbirds and Warbirds Require a total of QTY: 29, 55 gallon drums/barrels of aviation smoke oil to support our smoke oil requirements for the upcoming Air Show. 26 of those barrels/drums are required to support the Thunderbirds. Outside the Thunderbird's 26 barrels, we also need 3 barrels/drums to fulfill our various Warbird performers.
