This is a presolicitation notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Instron for custom-manufactured C-17 Air Drop System Link Calibration adapters. The Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB, California, intends to issue the purchase order, as the required adapters must interface with an existing Instron calibration machine for which the government lacks the proprietary technical data. Any other responsible source believing it can meet the requirement may submit a complete technical package demonstrating the ability to manufacture 100% compatible adapters and provide a full performance guarantee. Responses must be received by 12:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on April 30th. The performance location for services is Edwards AFB.
