This is a total small business set-aside opportunity to design and build a portable, self-contained wireless communications network for the 418th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. The system must use existing Wi-Fi/Bluetooth protocols, be self-powered for at least 30 minutes, support a minimum of 32 connected devices, and receive audio from aircraft intercom systems via a U-174 connector. Delivery of two copies is required within 180 days after receipt of order, with FOB destination at Edwards AFB. The contractor must also provide all hardware/software design specifications for airworthiness and cybersecurity approvals, and may need to travel to Edwards AFB or support flight tests on C-17, KC-135, and KC-46 aircraft.
