This is a request for information for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only request for information. Your responses will be treated as information only and shall not be used as a proposal. This request for information document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05 and DFARS Change Notice Dpn20190430. The Government does not intend to award a contract at this time or to otherwise pay for the information requested but needs to obtain price, delivery, FOB (destination or origin), CAGE code, federal tax ID, and DUNS number. REQUIREMENT: To wash exterior surfaces of outside Air Mobility Command Museum display aircraft. Contractor will comply with all state and federal environmental code regulations to comply with this contract. Except as noted below contractor will furnish all labor, tools, materials, personnel, facilities and incidentals necessary to repair the aircraft. Contractor will inspect all aircraft on outside display for obvious defects that would affect a wash of the exterior surfaces and identify those defects to museum staff to include chipping paint, loose decals and holes caused by either damage or corrosion. Museum staff will then advise the contractor of remedial action, i.e., taping over or removal of affected paint or decals.
