The 27 Special Operations Contracting Squadron (27 SOCONS) is seeking market information on vendors capable of providing the services as described herein. 27 SOCONS is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this Sources Sought will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. For purposes of this Sources Sought, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Description of Services The Air Force Aircraft Fire Training Facility on Cannon AFB located in Clovis, NM is in need of repair. The design incorporates a lined burn area and conservation pond for water conservation and recycling, a pneumatic emergency shutdown system, an ignition system, an aircraft mock-up, and a liquid propane fuel system. It should be stated there are sub systems or support systems of these major components. See Attachment 1, Statement of Objectives, for more detailed information. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information for your company/institution and for any teaming or joint venture partners, provide examples of past experience on projects from the Department of Defense, State and Local agencies that are similar in scope.
