Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico is searching for potential contractors that can provide pool maintenance IAW perofrmance work statement. Cannon AFB is seeking information from interested parties that are capable of providing the requirements below. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Sytem for Award Managerment (SAM.gov) database to be awarded a DOD contract. The NAICS for this action is 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings (size standard: $8 million). 2. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, materials including the purchase and delivery of the CO2, equipment and labor necessary to maintain, repair, chemically balance and ensure fully functional and sanitary pools for Cannon Air Force Base CAFB, New Mexico. The Contractor shall have extensive knowledge pertaining to commercial swimming pool systems including related mechanical equipment, hydraulics, water chemistry, and overall operation. The Contractor shall perform work in accordance with all applicable industry standards, federal, state and local requirements, and current Air Force Manual AFMAN 48-114, Recreational Waters and Mission Training Pools. The contractor will be required to respond to emergency calls within two hours. 3. This announcement is a Sources Sought and is NOT a Request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement does not commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. There is no solicitation or funding currently available. Additionally, the government is not obligated to an will not pay for any information received from potential sources because of this Sources Sought announcement. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if there are enough vendors capable to privide Pool Maintenance Services IAW the performance work statement. In addition, this market research tool can be used to identify potential and eligible firms, of all sizes, prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a solicitation.
