This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought (SS) seeks information regarding availability and capability of all qualified small businesses to perform a potential requirement. Responses received will be used for acquisition strategic decision making purposes only and will not be disclosed outside this agency. This announcement is for informational purposes only. The information obtained may be used for acquisition planning purposes and to determine whether the acquisition may be set aside for small businesses. This announcement does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract or otherwise pay for the information solicited. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice. Companies responding to this RFI/SS notice are advised that participation does not ensure involvement in future solicitations or contract awards. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this notice, and this announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or to ultimately award a contract, nor does this synopsis restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Contact with Government personnel, other than those specified in this RFI/SS, by interested firms or their employees regarding this requirement is not permitted. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. Any costs associated with providing information to either this notice or any follow-up information requests shall not be reimbursed. Costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne solely by the respondent and shall not be payable by the Government. 27 SOCONS at Cannon AFB, NM is seeking information concerning the availability of technically and financially capable firms to provide non-personal CE Smart Team services to the base populace and assigned units at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM. All interested firms are invited to respond to this RFI/SS. See attached Performance Work Statement and Attachments for additional information. Response Submission All interested parties who believe they can meet all aspects of the requirements are invited to complete Attachment 1, Contractor Capability Survey, describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. The purpose of using the survey format, in lieu of a free format, is to obtain pertinent and uniformed information from all interested firms. Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for payment from any Department of Defense activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained at www.SAM.gov. Please e-mail the completed survey to the primary point of contacts addressed in this posting. The Government is under no obligation to consider information received after the due date as part of the formal market research for this acquisition.
