The 460th Civil Engineer Squadron (460 CES) is in need of a requirement to remove diesel impacted soil and perform analytical sampling of native soil around the excavated underground storage tank (UST) to confirm full removal of impacted soils discovered at the Aspen Way Parking Lot on Buckley Air Force Base (BAFB). Specifically, the requirement will require the contractor to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to remove and dispose of impacted soil, confirmation sampling and analysis of native soil (around the excavated soil), and stabilization of all disturbed soil at BAFB as stated in the statement of work (SOW). All work shall be performed in accordance with State of Colorado Petroleum Storage Tank Regulations and the OPS Remediation Program, Petroleum Program Guidelines (http://www.coworkforce.gov/petroleumguidance/#Release%20Response/Site%20Characterization/Site%20Characterization.htm). The quantity of impacted soil is estimated as 50 cubic yards (18’ x 6’ x 5’ below tank).
