The purpose of this acquisition is to provide a comprehensive industrial water treatment program to protect the water cooling towers, chilled water systems and hot water boiler systems from the adverse effects of corrosion, deposition and biological fouling at Beale Air Force Base. The service includes the development of a comprehensive industrial water treatment program, supplying all water treatment chemicals, testing apparatus, testing reagents, program start-up chemical control equipment, technical expertise, operator training, and monitoring program for all treated systems. The service requirement for each year of the contract will include monthly service that evaluates the status of the industrial water treatment program, semi-annual service for laboratory analysis of well water used in the heating and cooling equipment to detect changes which might have an impact on the treatment program, and annual service to inspect and clean the cooling towers at buildings 2145 and 1086.
