This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 316th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to install, activate, operate, and maintain the Trapwire threat detection and analysis system on all necessary computers and delivery training to law enforcement personnel, and provide technical and analytic customer support, as defined in the attached PWS. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to provide: TrapWire Threat Detection and Analysis System for the 316 SFS at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Interested sources capable of providing this requirement must respond by e-mail to sara.marron@us.af.mil, referencing this post no later than 13 July 2020, at 8:00 AM EST. Interested sources shall indicate whether they are capable of providing the subject requirement, how long after issuance of a purchase order would it take to complete the requirement, and furthermore indicate their size and status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUB Zone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541519. No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This source sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources.
