This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources to provide the Plexus system (and associated hardware components). This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to provide: Plexus Vision Maintenance (annual routine preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, parts, and other services) currently owned by the 11 Medical Group (MDG), Joint Base Andrews (JBA). The contractor shall perform these services in accordance with the standards specified in this contract and in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Specifications, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) IAW 45CFR 160 and 164, and the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). Interested sources capable of providing this requirement must respond by e-mail to juanita.t.hunt.civ@mail.mil, referencing Plexus system (and associated hardware components) no later than 20 August 2019, at 9:00AM EST. Interested sources shall indicate whether they are capable of providing the subject requirement, how long after issuance of a purchase order would it take to complete the requirement, and furthermore indicate their size and status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This source sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources.
