This is a sources sought synopsis in support of a market survey being conducted by the 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research, to determine interest and capabilities of potential sources to provide a water pumping unit. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, a commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation, or ultimately award a contract. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this synopsis. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to provide: A replacement water pumping unit for referenced vehicle that can produce 2900 PSI and integrate with the current unit without further modifications. All Parts must be replaced in accordance with TO 36-1-191 1.5.1.2 which states "When parts are replaced, they will be replaced with new, rebuilt, or after-market parts that meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications." Interested sources capable of providing this requirement must respond by e-mail to james.a.himelrick.civ@mail.mil, no later than 27 June 2019, at 12:00PM EST. Interested sources shall indicate whether/how they are capable of providing the subject requirement along with a detailed synopsis with drawings, literature, or periodicals displaying any replacement parts or substitutions, along with an estimate on how long after issuance of a purchase order would it take to complete the requirement. Furthermore, indicate their size and socio-economic status (i.e., small business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, etc.). No other information is required at this time. Based upon the responses received, the Government will determine the set-aside method for the procurement. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This source sought synopsis is not a Request for Quote (RFQ); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources only.
