Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1D1019078AW02 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-03. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency. 2. Acquisition Details This requirement is posted as full and open competition. For further details on evaluation procedures, refer to FAR clause 52.212-2 "Evaluation-Commercial Items" located below in this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 ("Other Aircraft Part and Auxilary Equipment Manufacturing"), and the business size standard is 1,250 EMP. 3. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. This is being solicited for the 89th Air Wing at Joint Base Andrews. The following items are being procured: Desription: A training version of the C-32/VC-25 needs to be purchased based on the size of the training area. A standard slide raft for the C-32/VC-25 is approximately 75 feet. This raft is too large for a standard swimming pool. The training slide raft we need to purchase needs to be a one third scale version of the C-32/VC-25 slide raft. This item will be reinforced for training use to increase the life cycle of the raft.
