Pursuant to the authority at FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited - all responses will be treated as information only and it is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources to provide Locker Room Installations and Floor renovations for USAF Honor Guard. This requirement will involve three main parts: 1) Locker room flooring demolition 2) New custom flooring installation 3) Lockers and cabinets to be purchased and installed The period of performance for this anticipated contract is not expected to exceed one year from the date of this contract and is set to be awarded within two months. The Government plans to procure these services as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. Please see attached "Project Scope" for all required work. Location is set to be at the below address, and site visits will not be authorized for this SSN but will be granted once the formal solicitation gets issued within the next month: 50 Duncan Ave. Bldg. 46 JB Anacostia - Bolling Washington, DC 20032 Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall reference the Sources Sought number and shall include the following information in this format: 1) Company name, address, Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 2) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3) Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. 4) Capability statement displaying the contractor’s ability to provide the minimum requirements to include past performance information. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last 5 years. 5) Provide questions, comments, or feedback regarding the draft PWS, planned contract type or any other associated information. 6) If possible, provide a non-binding courtesy quote for the all the services and lockers/cabinets to be provided - otherwise known as a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM). Responses shall be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) listed in this notice the closing date and time of this notice. Any inquiries and capability statements received after the due date shall not be considered. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
