F-16 Helmet Mounted Integrated Tracking System (HMIT) Depot Transition
The F-16 System Program Office at Hill Air Force Base in Utah seeks a contractor to assist in transitioning maintenance of the Helmet Mounted Integrated Targeting (HMIT) System to a U.S. organic depot. The work involves finalizing test stand technical data and securing Authorization to Operate and formal depot acceptance. The contract is expected to last approximately 6 to 12 months. The Government will not provide the proprietary data rights owned by Thales Defense Systems and has no funds for reverse engineering.
