The estimated cost for a potential offeror to complete the qualification testing and evaluation is $3,000, and the estimated time to complete the qualification effort is 180 days. To qualify, an offeror must demonstrate extensive facilities, data, and repair process verification, and must provide a qualification article for government evaluation at their own expense. The government will notify offerors of their qualification test results within 90 days of article submission. There are also specific waiver criteria under which certain sources may apply to have all or part of these qualification requirements waived.
