This is a qualification requirement for becoming an approved repair source for a specific Electron Tube (P/N: 585R224H01, 585R224H03) used in the F-16 AN/APG-68 Radar Dual Mode Transmitter. The qualification process is estimated to take 180 days to complete and involves significant potential costs, with an estimated $4,500 for testing and evaluation incurred by the offeror. To qualify, an offeror must demonstrate extensive facilities, data verification, repair process compliance, and must provide a pre-contract qualification article for government evaluation at their own expense. The government will notify offerors of their qualification test results within 90 days of article submission. There are also specific waiver criteria that may allow a source to bypass all or part of these qualification requirements based on prior experience or existing qualifications.
