SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Drayage Services at Eielson AFB, Alaska This is a sources sought notice seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors in a Firm Fixed Price Repair Contract for dorm/unaccompanied housing drayage services for Eielson AFB, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. ADDITIONALLY, THIS NOTICE DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT OR MULTIPLE CONTRACTS; AND, IT DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR ANY BID AND/OR PROPOSAL PREPARATION COSTS. Proposed work to be performed under the aforementioned contract is anticipated to be within the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code as follows: 484210 “Used Household and Office Goods Moving” and the Small Business Size Standard is $30.0 million dollars. Drayage is the transport of goods over a short distance, and is typically completed in a single work shift beginning and ending in the specified local area. The contractor shall assemble/disassemble & setup all government-owned furnishings, as well as setup and connect all appliances. Contractor shall maintain the correct type and amount of hand tools needed to assemble/disassemble furnishings. The contractor shall deliver, assemble/disassemble and setup all furnishings, washers/dryers & appliances. The contractor shall be responsible for supplying a certified installer to insure both water and electrical connections are correctly installed and the unit is setup correctly. This includes installing the appropriate power cord to the dryer or stove, as necessary. THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING ONLY SMALL BUSINESS RESPONSES TO THE PROPOSED REQUIREMENT. Capability packages shall include any documentation that supports your entity’s ability to perform this requirement. Please include your entity’s CAGE and DUNS number within the capability package. Capability packages shall be submitted to the above contacts not later than (NLT) 2:00 PM AKST on Tuesday, 27 April 2021. An actual solicitation is expected to be issued sometime in the Winter of 2021. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at Beta.sam.gov. Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned site for the release of the solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments to any and all subject documents. It is the sole responsibility of all Interested Parties to register for notification updates to any and all subject documents for the said action. All contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database when responding to the future solicitation or their offer will not be considered.
