SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Boiler Repair Services at Eielson AFB, Alaska This is a sources sought notice seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors in a Firm Fixed Price Repair Contract for boiler/high pressure piping repair of the Coal Heating and Power Plant at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. ADDITIONALLY, THIS NOTICE DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT OR MULTIPLE CONTRACTS; AND, IT DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR ANY BID AND/OR PROPOSAL PREPARATION COSTS. Proposed work to be performed under the aforementioned contract is anticipated to be within the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code as follows: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (Except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $8.0 million dollars. The Government is currently seeking responsible parties with high pressure welding certifications or "R" type certification. Contractor to provide all labor, transportation, materials, facilities, equipment and personnel necessary to provide on-call critical maintenance/repair for six coal fired high pressure power boilers and/or their support systems. All performance shall be performed only by certified and qualified personnel that are capable of operating on high pressure piping systems, in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING ONLY SMALL BUSINESS RESPONSES TO THE PROPOSED REQUIREMENT. Capability packages shall include any documentation that supports your entity’s ability to perform this requirement. Please include your entity’s CAGE and DUNS number within the capability package. Paper copies will NOT be available. The entire solicitation, including the specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at Beta.sam.gov.
