The Air Force, through the WNY AC&SI office, is seeking information on current Independent Research and Development (IR&D) work being conducted that has the potential for application to top level US Air Force Electromagnetic Spectrum Superiority requirements as defined by the USAF Strategic Requirements Document (SRD) For Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) / Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Superiority (09 June 2021): - Electromagnetic Attack - Electromagnetic Delivered Cyber - Electromagnetic Battle Management This RFI is open to all industry partners with current IR&D and corporate investments, including large and small businesses, and to academia, National Labs, and FFRDCs with a signed and certified DD form 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) who may be pursuing work along these lines for non-USAF customers. The SRD is available upon request to those interested parties with a certified DD Form 2345. This engagement is intended to foster mutual awareness, increase collaboration, and identify alignment between current independent research investments and Department of the Air Force EMS-related capability needs. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from throughout the U.S. Government in various technical disciplines will analyze submitted abstract reviews for applicability to mitigate/close existing and/or future capability gaps. AC&SI’s mission is to translate the Joint Force’s Advanced EMS Warfare and Avionics capability needs into innovative materiel and acquisition solutions for executable programs of record supporting EW&A as the EMS Center of Excellence.
