The Armory RFID system must be a stand-alone system and not require the use of Wi-Fi or network connection. It must be a full database that account for weapons, gear, ammunition and radios. The system must also be able to track what posts personnel can work and the required equipment for that post. The database must also be able to track when the weapon is due annual maintenance and monthly cleaning. All 3 armory windows must have a touch screen, RFID/Barcode scanners. If the issue points and the system is requiring any Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal to communicate, it must be supplied by the company, ie router. The system must come with at a minimum of 1000 RFID tags that are able to be place on the weapons. The RFID tags must be durable enough to withstand daily handling of the weapon system and the adverse weather conditions of the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, there must be a minimum of 2500 barcode labels to be able to label all other equipment. The barcode labels will be used to track all non-weapons leaving/returning to the armory. When issuing out weapons and equipment, the system must be able to use the barcode on the back of a CAC to identify the individual receiving the equipment. It must also be capable of telling the armorer what equipment is required for the individuals post. If the equipment is not assigned to a specific post and is required for that day, a signature pad is required to be able to sign for a temporary receipt. The system must also come with at least 2 hand held scanners to be able to complete full inventory while the weapons stay in the weapons racks. If an individual in the system is tagged as “Do Not Arm”, the system must have an audible and visual alarm informing the armorer that individual is not able to carry a weapon. The system must have its own supplied uninterrupted power supply in case of power loss. The system must be able to work for at least 1 hour of power loss. This is in case the backup generator does not work. The system must also come with a printer for printing new barcode labels when the old ones wear out or under adverse circumstances, fall off. The system must come with a master user manual to ensure proper training of future users.
