The study sites will be located in Colombia and Honduras. The contractor will provide general classes of services including (but not limited to) project management, tracking ongoing and historical surveillance data, laboratory analysis of specimens, data management, shipment of specimen collections for laboratory analysis to respective UNR or NECE project lead Points of Contact (POC), development of spatial distribution models of ticks and associated pathogens, and support in authoring final risk assessment reports and potential publications. Monitoring activities will be conducted by NAMRU-6 with participation of NECE via monthly conference calls and one monitoring visit to selected field sites during the contract period. Regular progress reports are expected from collaborators on a monthly basis until completion of the study.
