The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-265 (Program Office for F/A-18 Aircraft), is soliciting information from industry to determine potential contractors who have the skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required to ensure a Swing bolt replacement for Bay 3L Shelf is designed, provisioned, produced, and qualified for installation into all F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Block II aircraft. This will support a correction of deficiency, and needs to seamlessly integrate into the accelerated schedule to meet fleet requirements. The contractor shall be responsible to support all systems engineering technical reviews, and meet NAVAIR structural loads, and vibration requirements in order to meet program schedule. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining, from The Boeing Company, all manufacturing drawings and proprietary specification data necessary to support the aircraft effectivity update.
