This announcement serves as a Sources Sought notice requesting capabilities statements from interested, responsible vendors for the following commercial services and supplies: -Supply of office furniture -Installation of office furniture -Movement of equipment/furnishings from one building to another located at Edwards AFB, CA. This is NOT a Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor is it to be considered as a commitment by the government to form a binding contract. Responding parties will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with responding to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will contribute to the Market Research Report as part of the acquisition strategy development process. This notice is not a request for quotes. No site visit will be available during the RFI period, but one may be considered should the government proceed with posting an official Request for Proposals (RFP). General Information: The Flight Test Engineering Laboratory (FTEL) at Edwards Air Force Base, located at Edwards, CA, is seeking a total solution to provide furniture and equipment for a new, 75,000 square foot, two story facility with general office, conference room, laboratory, library, training, and communal spaces intended for approximately 350 planned occupants. The new facility has a paved, ground- level entrance at four doors; a single, central personnel elevator; and three sets of accessible staircases to second level. The anticipated move-in date is 1 July 2024 and the organization intends to have furniture and equipment move-in ready on approximately 1 June 2024. The AFTC intends to award a single, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238390 - Other Building Finishing Contractors; with a size standard of $19M and a Product/Service Code (PSC) of N071. The selected awardee's active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at SAM.gov is required for this acquisition. Sources responding are invited to recommend alternative contract types, contract clauses, and anything else that may assist the government acquisition team in selecting an effective acquisition strategy. Should sufficient responsible and capable responses be received from this RFI, an official Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted. Interested parties are requested to furnish a capability statement; outlining their capabilities to perform the requirement; including providing the requested furnishings, installation, and movement of existing furniture. If teaming arrangements or subcontracting arrangements will apply to your proposal, the capabilities statement must reflect the capabilities, size status, and function of each business involved. Include highlights of prior government or commercial contracts/agreements. In addition, please ensure your response indicates your business size status (small or large), CAGE code and Unique Entity Identification number, and a list of any similar contracts/agreements performed of a similar nature. Please include a contact name, phone number, and brief description of the work performed. The government will not pay for any information or comments provided, and it will not recognize any costs associated with responses to this RFI. Please provide your response in Microsoft (MS) Word or MS Word compatible format. Responses shall be no longer than ten (10) double-spaced pages in no less than 10 point font size. Responses shall be non-proprietary and unclassified. Interested vendors shall provide responses no later than 3:00pm, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on Friday, 8 September 2023.
