The Department of Defense Concessions Committee (DoDCC) intends to solicit interested vendors (through the competitive solicitation process) for a single follow-on License Agreement for a firm to operate and manage mulitple concepts including retail military memorabilia, gifts, shoe shine and shoe repair concepts in designated space (retail store in Room 2D1075; shoe repair & shoe shine in Room 2E1082; and a kiosk in the Tour Area of the Metro Entrance Facility) within the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. As a result, the DoDCC is inquiring to determine firms interested in this opportunity in response to a DoDCC issued solicitation anticipated to be released in March 2021. Although the specific details of this requirement will be provided in the solicitation, the successful offeror will be required to manage and operate the retail concepts stated above. The DoDCC intends to award one License Agreement to one company to manage and operate the three concepts (military memorabilia & gifts store; shoe shine and shoe repair; and memorabilia kiosk). The base period of performance (PoP) will be five (5) years with two (2) five-year (5-year) option periods subject to mutual agreement. All questions concerning this notice should be submitted electronically via email to the Points of Contact as indicated in this announcement. All information pertaining to this annoucement, including technical (or other) questions and answers will be provided to/through the Contracting Officer ONLY to ensure equal distribution of information to interested parties via the beta.SAM.gov website at https://beta.SAM.gov. Interested companies must submit an expression of interest and a statement of qualifications/experirence (3-page limit) to the Contracting Office no later than March 12, 2021. The DoDCC anticipates issuance of the solicitation for this requirement in late March or early April 2021.
