This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or after 21 June 2022, with the solicitation closing approximately 30 days thereafter. It will be issued electronically at the SAM.gov website- https://sam.gov. Eielson Air Force Base has a requirement for a Construction project, DXEB 21-1004 Repair Well Pump 1 at B800, Clear SFS. Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to complete the following construction project, DXEW 21-1004 Repair Well Pump 1 at B800, Clear SFS. The general scope of this project includes removing the current WP-1 well pump turbine and motor. Replace with a new motor and the Government owned turbine pump, currently stored in the Clear SFS (CSFS) warehouse. Overhaul the existing well pump, which includes replacing line shaft bearings and other wear parts as necessary. Return the pump to CSFS warehouse for long term storage. After installation, conduct an initial vibration analysis of the WP-1 for future baseline reference. Deliver vibration report to Clear SFS Civil Engineering department for distribution. Work will be performed on Clear Space Force Station, Alaska Performance time will be 180 calendar days. The Government is contemplating Firm Fixed-Price Sealed Bid contract. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The NACIS code 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000. Electronic bid submissions will not be accepted or returned. Bid, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Liquidated damages will be identified in the solicitation and placed under the proposed contract. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. Site visit information will be provided in the solicitation. The complete solicitation will only be available electronically at https://sam.gov. No paper / hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility for downloading the RFP documents and for monitoring the website for possible amendments, any changes or updates. Not responding to this pre-solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. Interested vendors may register their contact information at the SAM website under this notice. Contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and have their Online Representations and Certifications completed. Failure to register in the database will render the contractor ineligible for award.
