Meade, MD 20755 Sources Sought THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY Defense Media Activity (DMA) is performing market research in support of an upcoming procurement for professional services that will determine the availability and technical capabilities for an onsite advanced storytelling workshop. Certified HUBZone, 8a, Women Owned Small Business and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses are encouraged to respond to this sources sought. As a precursor to the competitive process to acquire these services, DMA is conducting market research to determine the market capability to satisfy the requirements. DMA intends to gather market research from responders who have proven experience performing the activities described herein. This Sources Sought Notice affords interested parties an avenue to provide feedback for this requirement via Capability Statements. This is optional and participation will not affect a party ability to provide a proposal if a solicitation does result from this requirement. The training includes: • Advanced storytelling techniques presented through classroom presentations, demonstrations and storytelling projects and exercise. • The training will include examples of national award winning stories demonstrating the techniques taught in the class. • The training will included classes that instruct the students on Storytelling techniques, Lighting, Interviewing techniques, Writing without narration, Advanced camera techniques and the basics of a solid story. • The training will include daily shooting, editing and critique sessions conducted one-on-one with one of the three staff members. • The training will require the students to discover and develop a real world story that they will produce as their final project. • The training will also include one-on-one critique opportunities of students stories or projects they have already produced. • The overall objective of this training is increase the skills and abilities of students as producers of non-narrative stories. • The storytelling training should be for 18-24 students who are there as participants (shooting and editing product). The training should allow for an unlimited number of attendees to come and view the classroom instruction. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 512191 and the size standard is $32.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses shall be a full capabilites statement emailed to the Government point of contact below. Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet Number and Tax Identification Number. Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS 517110. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 1:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, March 08, 2019. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
