DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible manufacturers that can supply items similar to the form, fit, and function of the Fan, Vaneaxial, NSN 4140-01- 507-7917. Interested contractors are requested to review the item description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The Government does not have in its possession the technical data for this item. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced item under a five-year long term, Indefinite Quantity Contract. Interested vendors should submit a complete data package for the item on or before June 19, 2025 to Nicholas Mackell, DLA Troop Support – Construction & Equipment; nicholas.mackell@dla.mil. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purposes of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought notice. It will be for a Firm-Fixed Price Contract for a quantity of 948 EA, and will include a quantity option for 248 EA. The anticipated required delivery schedule for the 948 EA is 270 days ADO. The Government will reserve the right to invoke the quantity option unilaterally at any time during the 270 day delivery schedule. Delivery will be FOB Origin, Inspection / Acceptance at Source. This acquisition will be unrestricted (small business set-aside does not apply). All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with Firm-Fixed Pricing for the quantity of 948 EA and the quantity option of 248 EA.
