DLA-Aberdeen, for the Army ILSC’s Supply Chain Management Directorate/Strategic Sourcing Directorate, intends to acquire parts supporting the SMART-T system, specifically a Light Source/Power Meter Kit (P/N 0831-2000, NSN 6070-01-734-1566). The kit includes two light sources (one LED, one laser), a quad power meter for 850/1300/1310/1550 wavelengths, and MQJ quality reference cables/adapters to zero the setup and verify insertion loss. The Government does not possess or release the technical data package, and this is a follow-on procurement; a small quantity was previously procured in early 2026 for training. This Sources Sought Announcement is for planning/market research only, not a request for quote/proposal, and will help determine whether responsible sources exist and whether the effort can be competitive or set aside for Small Business.
