The Stabilator Indicator is a remote-controlled, servo-driven device located on the aircraft instrument panel that allows the pilot/copilot to view the relative position of the Stabilator. On behalf of the Army Communications Electronics Command, Integrated Logistics Support Center (CECOM ILSC), the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)-APG intends to procure the manufacture of the Stabilator Indicator. This Sources Sought announcement is being advertised to locate sources for the manufacture of the Stabilator Indicator, ID-2279A/A, NSN 6610-01-326-0119. The Government does not possess the technical data (drawings or specifications) package (TDP) that completely defines form, fit and function of the units. The TDP is not available for release. Any sources capable of manufacturing these units must indicate such by contacting the above POCs. The responses must demonstrate knowledge of the system including physical and functional interchangeability at the line replaceable unit (LRU) level with items that the current source supplies for these NSNs. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Requested Response Information: Sources that can provide the manufacturing services sought are requested to submit information to show their capability to supply the same or similar services. At a minimum, information submitted should include but is not limited to the following types of documentation: Questionnaire responses, drawings, test results, information on previous Government and commercial contracts, data rights, etc. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. Notice, Response Due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Announcement (SSA) or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This SSA is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future. All SSA responses should be emailed to the Technical and Competition Advocate Points of Contact at the email addresses listed below.
