The US Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, is seeking sources that can produce and deliver the STORM SCOPE PROCESSOR WX-500. The ordering period will be August 29th, 2022 through August 28th, 2027 to enable a seamless supply of Storm Scopes used on several Army aircraft platforms. The current Source of Supply is Extant Components Group, Inc.1615 West NASA Blvd Melbourne, FL 3290. A complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of repairing this gyroscope must so indicate, by emailing to US Army Combat Capabilities Megan Brown, megan.e.brown82.civ@army.mil and Melinda Rivers, Melinda.i.rivera@army.mil, USA CE-LCMC, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-HDD, 6560 Surveillance Loop, Building 6007 3rd floor, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005-1846. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the above source or a statement from above source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
