The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), intends to buy the Rain/snow Sensor Controller (Part number 1000206479), NSN 5985-01-691-1116. The Rain/snow Sensor Controller is a components of AN/TSC-156D. The AN/TSC-156D also known as “Phoenix terminal” is a transportable Tactical Satellite Communications Terminal (TACSAT) which operates, in Super High Frequency (SHF) Bands (C, X, Ku, and Ka), over commercial and military satellites. Requirements Description: This is a Market Survey to locate potential sources of supply for Rain/snow Sensor Controller (Part number 1000206479), NSN 5985-01-691-1116 The Government does not possess any technical data package (TDP) for these items. Sources Sought Announcement (SSA) respondents must prove their Rain/snow Sensor Controller meets the current AN/TSC-156D’s (Phoenix terminal’s) configuration base line. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources sought announcement (SSA) or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA.
