The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire Flight Control Panels C-10909 E/A -015447218/013013792 to support the Blackhawk system. The contractor shall manufacture, and /or supply the Panel, Flight Control, C-10909E/A, (known as FCP), P/N TRC07-0107-048. Technical Research Consultants (TRC) Inc, CAGE 3DWH6 is currently the only known source of supply for this part. Manufacturers, and / or suppliers responding to this Sources Sourght Announcement (SSA) can provide their information on a product that is either identical to the known part or one, that is Interchangeable in Form, Fit and Function with Airworthiness approved Panel, Flight Control C-10909D/A, NSN 1680-01-301-3792. Requirements Description: Panel, Flight Control, C-10909E/A, (known as FCP), P/N TRC07-0107-048, Technology Research Consultants (TRC) Inc, CAGE 3DWH6, that is Interchangeable in Form, Fit and Function with Airworthiness approved Panel, Flight Control C-10909D/A, NSN 1680-01-301-3792. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. Furthermore, no technical data from the known manufacture is available from the Army. Requested Response Information: Any sources capable of manufacturing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-AB, Building 6007, Aberdeen, MD 21005. At a minimum the responses must demonstrate knowledge of the system including physical and functional interchangeability at the LRU level with the items that the current source supplies for these NSN’s. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. Notice, Response due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
