The BOS contract, HC1028-15-C-0013, was modified via two separate contract actions, which added two separate contract line item numbers (CLIN) to the contract. On 27 March, the first contract action was executed pursuant to FAR 6.302-2 due to the Novel Coronavirus SARS-COV-2/COVID-19 event. This Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA) was awarded via modification P00028. The purpose of this modification was to support the need for immediate decontamination services of five (5) areas within the HQs complex identified by WSD as having been visited or worked in by individuals who had tested positive for COVID-19. The UCA established a Time and Materials (T&M) CLIN 4012 which authorized the immediate commencement of work. The UCA was definitized on 8 April 2020. The second contract action was executed pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. On 3 April, modification P00029 was awarded to establish a T&M CLIN 4013 for future instances of decontamination services. In both cases Fiscal Year 2020 Operations and Maintenance funds were used and designated for the modifications necessitated by the COVID-19 virus. The period of performance remains unchanged with the current contract expiring 2 November 2020.
