This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division-Northeast (HCD-NE) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Clinic (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889, in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and FAR 16.7, Agreements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, for commercial items / services for the procurement of Phonak hearing aids and associated items from the vendor’s commercial pricelist as needed. Currently, Phonak, is the products/service authorized distributor for Sonova USA. The NAICS code is 334510/ Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250. Product Service Code is: 6515. Product Salient Characteristics: At a minimum the pediatric hearing aids should include rechargeable devices, tamper proof components, pediatric sized features and coupling, silicone earmold compatibility, indicator lights and Roger/FM capability/compatibility. This source sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only.
