This is a sources sought/synopsis announcement issued by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Northeastern Markets-Contracting Division (NEM-CD) as part of its market research, on behalf of the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), 9300 Dewitt Loop, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Clinic (WRNMMC), 8901 Wisconsin Avenue Building 54 Bethesda, MD 20889, in accordance with FAR Part 13.303, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) and FAR 16.7, Agreements. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, four-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for medical and surgical imaging agents, such as, Xenon 133-20 millicurie vials, Neurolite Kits, Gallium 67 and Radioactive Mo99/Tc99m Generator and Cyclotron made Imaging Agents. Currently, Sofie Company, 21000 Atlantic Blvd., Suite 730, Dulles, VA, 20166-2499 is the products/item manufacturer and authorized distributor for the MOLECULAR POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY (PET) imaging agents, which images the body using nuclear medicine PET imaging cameras to document cancer therapy progress or quantify the extent of a patient’s diseased state. The estimated five-year total of this BPA is $6,500,000.00. The NAICS code is 325412, Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing; size standard of 1250. Federal Supply Class or Product Service Codes: 6505. These sources sought announcement is a request for information ONLY to be used for preliminary market research information and planning purposes only.
