The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Contract of Base plus 4 Options for dental prosthetic fabrication for preventive care, periodic dental assessments, pre and post deployment assessments of over 7,000 active duty service members + 27,000 eligible employees and all associated items required to fulfill preventive dentistry. The laboratory should have documented quality standards. The dental laboratory should be a Certified Dental Laboratory though the National Board for Certification. Additionally the laboratory should also be DAMAS (Dental Appliance Manufacturers Audit System) certified or in the process of attaining the DAMAS certification. DAMAS closely mirrors the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Quality System/Good Manufacturing Practice specifications, which are required of all dental laboratories conducting business in the United States.
