No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. DLA Land & Maritime is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can supply NSN 4240-01-272-3841 or an alternative product that could be procured in place of NSN 4240-01-272-3841. The currently approved source of supply for this material is Compressed Gases of Augusta, Inc. (CAGE 7EFU3). The alternative product must have the same form, fit, function, and must be functionally compatible with all existing components of the weapon system. Interested contractors are requested to review the below description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. In order to be considered, all vendors shall be capable of providing at a minimum of 46 units per year. The estimated yearly quantity required is 46-48 units. The unit of issue for this NSN is each (EA).
