SYNOPSIS – GENERAL IFB SB Set-aside Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Classification Code P – Salvage Set Aside: Small Business NAICS Code: 238910 – Site Preparation Contractors The 183d Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for Demolish Buildings 12 and 13 in Springfield, IL (Sangamon County). Buildings 12 and 13 are no longer in use by the 183d Wing. Work of this contract comprises providing all materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to demolish two facilities and associated structures no longer in use, abatement of hazardous materials, grading of final site, and seeding/strawing all disturbed areas. All work will be accomplished as required to meet current codes and Department of Air Force Instruction (DAFI) requirements. The contract duration is 180 days after the notice to proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238910, with a size standard of $19,000,000. The magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is mid-February 2025. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is mid-late February 2025, location and time will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and shall follow site visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference.
