IAW FAR 5.203(a), this posting serves as notice that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough Ma 01752-3770 (hereafter referred to as "Raytheon"), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)). Specifically, AFLCMC/HBAK intends to award a contract to produce, integrate and test equipment for a Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) system at Nellis AFB, Nevada utilizing Government Furnished Equipment. The period of performance is one year after contract award date. The contract types include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursement (CR), and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF). This notice neither constitutes a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and other for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should address their concerns, issues, disagreements and /or recommendation to the Contracting Officer, Neil McCafferty(neil.mccafferty@us.af.mil), for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's contract. The AFLCMC Ombudsman is Lt.
