Amendment 3 is now incorporated and satisfies DFARS 212.7004(b) “The contracting officer shall publicize the CSO through the Governmentwide point of entry...at least annually." -------------------- April 24, 2023: Amendment 2 and an updated Frequently Asked Questions document are now incorporated. ------------------ Amendment 1 is now incorporated for this Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO). It is noted that this amendment retitles the CSO from the Embedded Entrepreneurship Initiative (EEI) to the more appropriate DARPA Office title of Commercial Strategy among other revisions. However, for tracking purposes and continuity of communication channels, the Notice ID and email address associated with this CSO remain the same. It is also noted that the original CSO inadvertently did not include its assigned CSO number, HR001122SC001, which is now noted on all documentation and will be referenced in any resultant awards made from this CSO. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) mission to maintain technological superiority over our adversaries drives its Research and Development (R&D) programs to transform revolutionary concepts into practical capabilities for the military and civilian society. Under this Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO), DARPA seeks to close military and civilian capability gaps with commercial solutions derived from the Agency's R&D programs. This CSO is solicited by DARPA Commercial Strategy within the Director’s Office inititative, which includes the Embedded Entrepreneurship Initiative (EEI), and awardees may participate in EEI described at https://eei.darpa.mil/. Proposals are solicited for transitioning innovative solutions derived from DARPA R&D-funded technologies into capabilities that fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, or provide new technological advancements as of the submission date to this CSO. DARPA reasonably anticipates meaningful proposals with varying technical or scientific approaches in response to this CSO.
