DARPA is seeking proposals to develop catalysts for converting lignin-containing waste biomass into valuable chemicals, with a focus on replacing imported substances. The work aims to achieve atomic-level precision and improve catalyst stability, activity, and feedstock flexibility. Performance of services is specified for both domestic and deployed environments.
