The U.S. Government currently is using space on a pier in Seattle, WA, on Lake Union to monitor water quality. The Government is considering an alternate location if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate pier spaces that potentially can satisfy the government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, dock infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The Government’s desire is for a full service lease to include base rent for 10 square feet to mount a water quality monitoring station. The monitoring station also requires the use of an attached pier to drape monitoring lines from the station into the water. Offered pier space must meet Government requirements per the terms of the Government Lease. Interested respondents may include business owners and representatives with the exclusive right to represent pier owners.
