Item 1 of timber is on approximately 112.60 acres named the Lost Farms Timber Sale. Item one (1) of this sale is located near the Seven Points Entrance Station, 6256 Seven Points Rd., Raystown Lake Project in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. The sale area is 112.60 acres and is being managed as follows: Block 1 - 25.18 acres, Block - 2 15.69 acres, Block 3 - 10.32 acres, Block 4 – 61.41 acres. The primary sawtimber species composition of designated timber consists of chestnut oak, red oak, black oak, black walnut, and black cherry. Previously used haul roads, log landings and skid trails exist therefore site impacts with respect to new construction will be minimal. Whole tree chipping IS permitted for Blocks 1 and 2. Whole tree chipping IS NOT permitted for Blocks 3 and 4, treetops must remain on site. An Erosion and Sedimentation Plan and Accident Prevention Plan shall be completed and approved by the Corps prior to the start of timber harvesting. In addition, Proof of Pennsylvania SFI® Professional Timber Harvester Training Program certification shall be provided prior to the start of timber harvesting. HARDWOOD SAWTIMBER: 144,319 BF (1/4") International HARDWOOD PULPWOOD: 3,236 Tons of hardwood pulpwood and 1,085 Tons of pine pulpwood on approximately 112.60. The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers as the access gate to this area is locked open for public use therefore prospective bidders are welcome to access the timber sale area at any time.
