The Honolulu District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, invites interested parties to bid on approximately 5,402 acres of grazing land at the Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii County, Hawaii. The 5,402 acres is broken into 3 units: Unit 1. Waikii expansion 1,567 grazing acres; Unit 2. Northern Unit -1,393 grazing acres; Unit 3. Southern Unit- 2,532 grazing acres. The bidder does not have to bid on all 3 units. The lease(s) are to manage wildland fire vegetation fuel reduction utilizing agricultural grazing as a landscape management tool to reduce vegetation and wildland fire fuels to minimize impacting the Army training mission and environmental conservation stewardship goals.
