The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale two standing-timber harvest blocks totaling approximately 127 acres at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA, with harvested timber sold by weight per ton. Item 1 (about 60 acres) is estimated at 4,885 tons excluding chips, and Item 2 (about 66–67 acres) at 5,845 tons excluding chips, including pine, oak, poplar, misc. hardwood, pulpwood, and chips. For both items, all harvest operations and final site rehabilitation must be complete by April 1, 2028, and no tree cutting is allowed from April 1 through September 30. An inspection is invited on Thursday, October 15, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m., with items shown only if requested by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and arrangements made in advance.
