The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering standing timber for sale across approximately 268.6 acres in three harvest areas at the Maine Army National Guard in Aroostook County, Maine. The harvest includes specified tonnages of balsam fir, aspen, mixed hardwood pulp, mixed softwood pulp, tamarack, and biomass, with each area managed under operator-select single-tree selection and residual basal area targets of 40–60 ft²/acre. The contract runs from the official Notice to Proceed through October 31, 2027, with no tree felling permitted from April 15 to September 30. All felling, skidding, processing, and hauling must be completed by May 31, 2027, and all directed site repair work must be complete by October 31, 2027.
