The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale standing timber on approximately 357 acres across six separate harvest blocks at Fort A.P. Hill, Bowling Green, VA. The sale is divided into three items, with estimated volumes for pine, oak, poplar, and hardwood sawtimber, pulpwood, and optional chip tons, all sold by weight per ton. All harvest operations—including felling, skidding, processing, and hauling—must be completed by 1 April 2028, with final site rehabilitation due the same date for most blocks; one block requires rehabilitation by 15 April 2027. No tree cutting is permitted from 1 April to 30 September, and temporary closeout of skid trails is required under certain conditions, such as equipment moves or anticipated heavy rain.
