The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 124 acres within one (1) block at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambursburg, PA Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Approximately the following volumes to be harvested from within the designated block boundary: Letterkenny Army Depot FY23 Timber sale, timber is per unit – Contains within the harvest blocks approximately 26,387 Bf of designated Black Walnut, Black Cherry, & Shagbark Hickory sawtimber and 869 tons hardwood pulpwood. Item 1: 2 BLOCKS (124 ACRES) BLACK WALNUT, BLACK CHERRY, & SHAGBARK HICKORY – 26,387 Bf HARDWOOD PULPWOOD – 869 TON All sawtimber to be sold by board foot. All Non-Sawtimber products to be sold per unit (Ton) scaled at the receiving sawmill. Contract Period of Performance: Item # one (1) Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) FY23 Timber sale: Contract shall run from official Notice to Proceed and Performance Deposit collection through to 30 June, 2023, no tree felling shall occur after 28 April, 2023 all tree skidding, processing, and hauling shall be complete by 31 May, 2023; and all site repair work as directed must be complete by 30 June, 2023. INSPECTION INVITED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. AND 3:00 P.M.
